Integrative Therapy & Counselling in Horsham
Whether you are a young person or an adult, looking for a counsellor can be a daunting process....
If you are an adult you may be here because you have hit a point where you realise that you have been trying to cope alone for some time with problems, such adepression and anxiety, stress, relationship breakdown and gender identity. You might want to look at a specific recurring problem or have a much more generalised sense of dissatisfaction with your life.
If you are a young person (aged 13 - 25) and looking for a counsellor in Horsham I am experienced and can provide a safe space that is separate from school, social media and your friendship group. Some of the issues that you might want to get help with are bullying, self harm, gender identity, eating disorders, depression/low mood and self esteem. Whilst considering or waiting for therapy you might also take a look at the tellmi.help website and app which offers a free, safe and anonymous space to talk and get support.
Whatever your age or starting point counselling can provide a confidential and supportive professional relationship from within which you can make sense of what's going on, develop new skills and move forward.
Gaining awareness of how difficulties and sticking points can develop and repeat in your life provides you with the option to make more considered and informed choices. As an outcome you can learn to recognise when your basic needs are being compromised, explore healthy self expression, gain some control and also find the courage to make change if that is the best course of action for you.
